Backup your data

Alexandria is file-first, so backups are straightforward.

Back up the whole workspace, including notes/, media/, trash/, and preferences.json.

Basic tips:

• Use your favorite backup tool: Time Machine, rsync, Syncthing, or cloud drive.
• For multi-device setups, see the Sync guide for Alexandria's end-to-end encrypted sync.
• Test a restore once, before you need it.
